ARABS INVEST $400,000,000.00 in easyHotels

Istithmar Hotels, a subsidiary of Istithmar – an international investment house based in the UAE, has signed a $400 million contract with the worlds leading low cost hotel chain easyHotel to open a chain of budget hotels across Middle East, North Africa, India and Pakistan. It recently announced its plans to open eight new easyHotel budget hotels across major metropolitan cities in India over the next four years.

Istithmar is owned by the Royal family of UAE.

Since 2003 the price of oil has been going through the roof, as a result the Arabs in general have been raking in the dollars by the bucketload. Meanwhile the airlines have seen the cost of aviation fuel rising by about 300% over the last three years.

I believe that Istithmar's excellent investment in easyHotel is merely a redressing of the balance as easyJet has lost several hundred millions in increses in aviation fuel recently. Although easyJet plc as a whole is in excellent shape and going from strength to strength.

easyHotel has a poor reputation in the UK and is well known internationally. I am looking for franchisees to license the "easy" brand in the far east and in North America as well.

easyHotel will definately make huge profits from the recent arab investments and hopes to secure further funding from Istithmar for my other ventures such as easyCruise and easyMoney.

I deny any suggestion that i have sold out to the Arabs and confirm that easyGroup is solely owned by myself Stelios Haji-Ioannou and nobody else. Istithmar is merely a franchisee and will pay easyGroup a handsome license fee in keeping with the easyGroup's licensing of it's intellectual property.
